First off, thanks for having me on the Vampire Review blog today! I’m so excited to be here talking about my upcoming release of Possessed, the companion novel to my Spiritus Series.

For those of you not familiar with my Spiritus Series, it’s all about a girl, Becca, moving to her ancestral home and being haunted by a Civil War era ghost named Alastor. Alastor believes Becca to be the reincarnation of the wife that murdered him.

While the series is popular, readers seem to either love or hate Alastor, and there doesn't seem to be any middle ground. So, in this most recent book, I decided to write Possessed showing the whole series from his point of view.

In this book, I was able to explore Alastor’s character more, show why he came back for Becca, and why he couldn’t just leave. Was he really back because of love? Or was it all about revenge? Maybe the truth lived somewhere between the two? In the end, I think Possessed will be my very favorite book out of the entire series, but then again Alastor is one hot ghost and I’ve always had a soft spot for him.

Alastor is a character ruled by his emotions, his fear, his anger, even his love. Love changed his fate forever. So in Possessed, I was able to use all of that to help show his story, a story that covers two lifetimes. It's a story of a love that refused to die.

I hope readers will be as drawn into Possessed and Alastor’s perspective as easily as they were pulled into the original books of the series. Maybe this time my favorite brooding ghost will pick up a few new fans!

MORE COMMONLY DISTRIBUTED  INTRODUCTION TO THE BOOK
Every story has two sides...

Alastor truly believed that his life was over the night his wife Becca shot and killed him over a century ago, but now he has returned as a spirit to haunt the reincarnation of his traitorous, murdering wife. Why now? Why Becca after all this time?

When Becca moves into her ancestral home in Corydon, Indiana, her life takes a puzzling and thrilling turn. There she meets the ghost haunting the halls. As the seductive spirit lures her closer and closer, she learns about her own past and starts to understand that some mistakes are meant to last.

To Becca, Alastor is a seductive spirit that seems to see straight into her soul. To Alastor, Becca is what he has waited a century for - a second chance. But a second chance at what? Love...Or revenge?

How far will each of them go to rectify the wrongs of the past?
