Ravena & The Resurrected has been available as an eBook on Smashwords since October 2010. The publisher is moving forward with having the book published in print due to sales and 4-5 star reviews there.
Ravena & The Resurrected (R&R) features a likable but awkward young professional, a year out of college, whose technically inclined. Main character, Ravena Doomlah, works for the downtown central library in computer repair. After work, she follows her dreams for meeting vampires, but when she becomes resurrected, she learns that being dead is very different from what she had imagined.
R&R is probably the only vampire novel that puts an entire lair of fang-bearers in the middle of a wooded forest where they mesmerize the wildlife so the animals will fight on their behalf.
NOT A CHILDREN'S BOOK: This book does have romantic yearning, one brief sex scene (not too descriptive) and violence appropriate for a werewolf/vampire novel. Because of these facts, R&R is not appropriate for young children. Meanwhile, bloggers are rating this book a "must read."

Oh.My.Gosh . This book was a delight and such a wonderful surprise. The cover scared me a little at first but from the moment I met Ravena and her quirky sense of humor, I was hooked.

Okay, I read Tami's book last week and loved the humour of Ravena and her bolshy attitude to life which was refreshing. I also liked the addition of songs throughout which she wrote herself (Ravena) and then with a rather yummy male (for details read the book!) The flow was great and there was plenty of suspense and revelation, leading to the ending which totally surprised me. READ IT and SEE!"

Ravena & the Resurrected is a delightful book full of humor and plot lines that I didn't even see coming.

This book is sensational! Tami Jackson takes vampire pop fiction into an entirely new direction. (No sparkly vampires here!) She captures the true essence of vampire in this upbeat modern tale of vampires in Seattle. Ravena & The Resurrected spares no gory details in the bloodbath that is vampire life but it also captures the Seattle landscape in a meticulously detailed and exciting form! The adventure leaves you breathless right up to the end.
