Very excited that Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters will swoop into theaters on Valentine's Day 2014. It's based on the 2007 best-selling novel, Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters, by Richelle Mead.
Please see cautions I laid out in this book review on Vampire Review, where I admit I don't think high school students should be doing the hanky panky with adult teachers. (Parents beware. There's more than mere vampires to concern yourself with here.)
Meanwhile? Adults might find this movie completely worth seeing. Just look at all the action and adventure in the official Vampire Academy trailer.

- Zoey Deutch as Rosemarie "Rose" Hathaway. She's the main character and narrator in both book and film. A Dhampir, she's half human-and-vampire, and she's a guardian of the Moroi.
- Danila Kozlovsky as Dimitri Belikov, a dhampir and famous guardian. He's also Zoey's teacher in the first book.
- Lucy Fry as Vasilisa "Lissa" Dragomir, an 18-year-old Moroi queen.
